On October 13, Kapuso actress Gabbi Garcia felt saddened by her shelved project with Jericho Rosales.
At the media event for the last five weeks of ‘Unbreak My Heart,’ which LionhearTV covered, Garcia recounted her supposed project with Rosales and how it got shelved because of an issue with the producer.
“Mayroon kasi kaming isang project dapat na gagawin ni Kuya Echo na naudlot. Parang it was three years ago, parang pandemic pa din. Pero we had a bit of a problem with the producer, so sayang kasi constantly, nag-uusap na kami. We we’re preparing for it, nagwo-workshop na kami online and then nagkaroon lang ng problem with the producer so naudlot siya.”
Despite the postponed project, she still hoped to cross paths with Rosales in a future production.
“So maybe in the future, if there’s an opportunity, why not? I really look up to him.”
When asked how she felt about the shelved project, Garcia clarified she felt saddened, especially because she already read the script and the story.
“Basta, basta, hindi na daw talaga eh. Pero, malungkot, kasi di ba na feel mo na eh, nabasa mo na ‘yung script di ba? Pero feeling ko talaga, may rason ang lahat. I believe in perfect timings. And for sure, may reason. So, I’m okay, but–I’m not devastated, but I’m sad, but I’m not devastated. I’m pretty sure we will cross paths again.”
