Written and performed by promising artist Ava Canaceli and arranged by the critically acclaimed music producer Shadiel Chan, Maghihintay is Reverb Worship’s first anthem for 2024.
Inspired by the Psalms of David in the Bible, Ava penned the song during the pandemic as a reminder of God’s goodness and to encourage listeners to stay firm and faithful in their waiting seasons.
“In difficult times, we often feel like God is silent—like He is not doing anything. This song is all about waiting desperately for Him and seeking His presence, no matter how long it takes for Him to answer,” the singer-songwriter shared.
Ava’s personal yet relatable lyrics and musing from the timeless biblical message, paired with her soulful voice and balladic melody, gave birth to the masterpiece that is Maghihintay.
