Winner of ‘It’s Showtime’ Miss Q&A Season 1 Juliana Parizcova Segovia has expressed her desire to make a triumphant return to the popular Kapamilya noontime show.
In a recent interview, Segovia shared that many people she encounters inquire about her potential comeback to ‘It’s Showtime.’ Responding with a hopeful “Soon,” she emphasized her deep affection for the show, considering it the platform where she first showcased her talents.
“‘Yung mga nakakasalubong ko, sabi, ‘Hindi na kita nakikita. Kailan ka babalik ng ‘It’s Showtime’? Ang sinasagot ko lang, ‘Soon’ para mag-manifest. Gusto kong bumalik kasi doon ako unang rumampa. Mahal na mahal ko ‘yung bahay na ‘yun, ‘yung show na ‘yun,” she said.
Addressing her previous discord with Vice Ganda, a mainstay host on the noontime show, Segovia opened up about her efforts to reconcile. The two personalities made headlines in 2022 after a video clip surfaced where Vice Ganda hinted at someone making a living as a troll during the 2022 presidential elections.
“Nag-exert ako ng effort kay Vice. Even after ng elections, may isang portion na na-mention ako so nag-thank you ako sa kanya. Sabi niya, ‘You’re welcome. Deserve mo naman ‘yun.’ Nag-sorry ako noong na-offend ko man siya before,” she said.
While Vice Ganda did not explicitly mention anyone, Segovia felt targeted by the remarks. The controversy unfolded when a conversation between them, uploaded by director Daryl Yap on Facebook, gained widespread attention.
Segovia revealed that she actively reached out to Vice Ganda on multiple occasions, expressing gratitude and apologizing for any unintentional offense caused.
Despite the past tensions, she highlighted her consistent work and acknowledged the support of influential figures like Director Daryl Yap and Senator Imee Marcos. Yap, in particular, played a significant role in assisting Segovia with various projects, contributing to her continued visibility in the industry.
