Monkey Shoulder, the first 100% malt whisky made for mixing, has commenced its rollout of two fun ways to shake up your summers in the city.
#MakeItMonkey every Thursday in bars across Poblacion
As part of its ongoing mission to shake up traditions and the status quo, Monkey Shoulder has partnered with hip bars within the metro’s night-out capital, Poblacion, to offer a just-as-fun alternatives and to save partygoers from the feeling of being stuck and far away from the summer parties in beaches outside Metro Manila.
Every Monkey Thursday will carry a theme or two, with its first takeover of Apothecary, Poblacion last May 9 proving to be an exciting sign of things to come and a great showing of how the brand will #MakeItMonkey in the summer of 2024.
“Monkey Thursday is one of the fun ways we uphold the brand’s legacy of shaking things up,” Brendon Khoo, Monkey Shoulder’s South East Asia Regional Brand Ambassador, shares. “Whether for nights out such as our Monkey Thursdays or even for nights in, Monkey Shoulder will keep you company and will keep the fun times going.”

Each Monkey Thursday features the Monkey Menu, where you can order from a selection of Monkey Shoulder cocktails. Each cocktail gets you a token to access Monkey Thursday’s special feature: Silent Disco, the Arcade Game, or the Claw Machine.
With a purchase of an entire bottle of Monkey Shoulder, you can also get a Monkey Shoulder pourer and glass bands.
Monkey Shoulder rolls out the Monkey Mixer Van for an unforgettable summer on wheels
Monkey Shoulder will also open up the Monkey Mixer Van for unique and on-the-go summer nights in the city. Metro Manila partygoers can gain entry to the Monkey Mixer Van on May 23-25 and May 29-June 1, with every purchase of a bottle of Monkey Shoulder in Boozeshop and Soju Express.
Inside the Monkey Mixer Van, fun times await and abound. There’s karaoke on board, as well as unlimited Monkey Shoulder cocktails. Each partygoer can also participate in the Mixer Bingo, where the first participant to complete all tasks will take home a bottle of Monkey Shoulder.
The Monkey Mixer Van is a dynamic take on the concept of the bar crawl, as each run will have pit stops in the form of hip bars in the city, each with distinct vibes, activities, and Monkey Shoulder-crafted cocktails on offer.
Each run is limited to 10 pax, and takes on a first come, first served basis.
