The status of Yen Santos and Paolo Contis’ relationship remains uncertain, but fans took notice when the actress removed her birthday tribute to Contis from her Instagram account.
Santos sparked curiosity among netizens when she deleted her post dedicated to Contis’ 40th birthday last March. The post featured a video of Contis blowing out candles on his birthday cake, a snapshot of the couple together, and a throwback picture of the actor in his youth.
However, it’s unclear whether Santos archived or permanently deleted the post from her Instagram account.
Notably, the actress has maintained a low profile on social media, with very few public posts, and her account does not indicate that she follows anyone.
Santos’ most recent Instagram post, shared on May 2, featured a photo of herself in a sleeveless top with the caption: “Hope you have an amazing month. Come what May.”

Rumors of a breakup between Santos and Contis surfaced in late 2023 after Contis was seen being friendly with Kapuso star Arra San Agustin in TikTok compilation videos.
In a November 2023 interview with Boy Abunda, Contis clarified that he and his ‘A Faraway Land’ co-star were still together, dismissing the speculation. He emphasized that his interactions with San Agustin were “maliciously edited.”
Contis confirmed his relationship status with Santos in January 2024, putting an end to ongoing speculation. He also emphasized that Santos played no part in his breakup with his former partner, LJ Reyes.
