Ogie Diaz warns celebrities against excessive botox use

Talent manager and vlogger Ogie Diaz recently took to Facebook to caution celebrities about the dangers of excessive cosmetic procedures, particularly Botox injections.

In his post, Diaz urged actors, especially those active in film and television, to moderate their use of Botox and facial tightening treatments. Too much of anything is bad,” he began.

Diaz expressed concern over how excessive Botox can impact an actor’s performance. “Nakakalokah! In short, affected ang performance,” he explained.

While acknowledging the desire to fight aging, Diaz warned against overdoing cosmetic procedures.

He also pointed out that some young actors are already frequent users of Botox, which hinders their ability to display nuanced performances.

Recognizing that everyone has their ways of maintaining their screen presence, Diaz said, “Anyway, kanya-kanya namang pag-aalaga ng sarili ‘yan para i-maintain ang lakas ng screen presence.

“But always remember, ha? Wag n’yo namang perpekin.

Diaz’s candid advice highlights a growing concern about the overuse of cosmetic procedures among actors, emphasizing the importance of balance and authenticity in personal grooming and performance.
