Renowned chef Sandy Daza pays a visit anew to Bangkok, Thailand to savor the city’s mouthwatering dishes in the two-episode special of “FoodPrints,” airing back-to-back on Metro Channel on October 20 and 27 (Sunday) at 7pm.

A food-travel show that goes around well-loved dining destinations in and outside the country, “FoodPrints” is taking viewers around the City of Angels for an extraordinary feast not just for the tummy but for the eyes as well.

In the show’s first episode, Chef Sandy is making a quick stop at the airport food court to eat his favorite fried chicken dish with a special sauce. He will also dine at Liu, Conrad Bangkok Hotel’s award-winning Cantonese restaurant.

Viewers will get to take a peek at the best mango sticky rice in Bangkok at the chef’s next stop, Kor Panich which is listed in Michelin Bib Gourmand Bangkok. Meanwhile, Chef Sandy’s dinner at Horsamut Coastal Thai Cuisine is accompanied by the best view of the Chao Phraya River.

His other stops include the famous yet humble Here Hai, Khao, Bokkia The Din Daeng, and Potong. Khao is a semi-formal restaurant that has held one Michelin Star since 2014 run by Chef Toei Kallayanamitr while Potong, another Michelin-starred restaurant, is owned by Asia’s Best Female Chef of 2024, Chef Pam Soontornyanakij.

Chef Sandy is also looking forward to relishing more unique culinary flavors in the second part of “FoodPrints” Bangkok special. He will explore Phukej in Chinatown, which features traditional southern Thai dishes inspired by the coastal cuisine of Phuket.

Included in his itinerary are the Bantadthong Road, a street food haven lined with long-standing food stalls and trending hot spots, Taan Restaurant located at the very hip Siam@Siam Design Hotel Bangkok, and Thai Taste Hub which can be found inside King Power Rangnam.

He also gets to dine at three more Michelin Star restos: Mia Bangkok owned by Thai Chef Top Russell and his Malaysian wife, Chef Michelle Goh; Krua Apsorn known for its wide array of traditional comfort food; and Le Du owned by Chef Tonn Tassanakajohn who champions seasonal Thai ingredients.

Join Chef Sandy in his new quest to enjoy the best of Bangkok’s cuisine. Catch the Bangkok special of “FoodPrints” this October 20 and 27 (Sunday), 7pm on Metro Channel, available on Sky Cable channel 52 (SD) and channel 174 (HD), Cignal channel 69, and GSAT channel 70.
