TV host-actress Karla Estrada has caught the attention of netizens after becoming unusually active on TikTok, just as her ex-boyfriend, Jam Ignacio, faces serious allegations of physical abuse against his fiancée, Jellie Aw.
Estrada, who has remained silent on the issue, posted a TikTok video on February 12, showing herself smiling and lip-syncing to a voice-over saying, “Yeah, I think it was good.” The video, where she appeared radiant and in high spirits, immediately drew reactions from social media users.

While Estrada made no direct reference to the controversy, netizens were quick to speculate that the timing of her post was not a coincidence.
Many saw it as a subtle reaction to the scandal involving Ignacio, whom she dated for five years before their breakup in 2024.
Estrada and Ignacio ended their five-year relationship in 2024, and the actress previously admitted that Ignacio is the only ex she has not remained friends with.
In a January interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Estrada shared: “Lahat ng ex ko, friends ko. Pero itong ex ko pa lang na ito, hindi pa.”
However, she expressed openness to eventual reconciliation, stating that forgiveness takes time.
“Magiging kaibigan ko rin iyan eventually. Pero ang pagpapatawad, hindi naman overnight. Kailangan ko ring patawarin ang sarili ko.”
She also pointed out that since they do not share any children, there is little reason for them to stay in contact.
“Wala kaming koneksyon. Pero para sa sarili kong katahimikan, eventually, makakapagpatawad rin ako.”
Even before the abuse allegations surfaced, Estrada and Jellie Aw—Ignacio’s fiancée—were already rumored to have tensions online. Estrada previously posted a now-deleted Facebook status that hinted at possible legal action: “I don’t have time for this, but my lawyers have. Cyber libel, here we go.”
Many speculated that her post was directed at Aw, who responded on Instagram, writing: “Karla Estrada, nanahimik ako! Wag mo damay work ko.”
Though neither confirmed the exact source of their conflict, their social media exchange fueled speculation of a brewing feud between them.
