Singer and social media personality Rhaila Tomakin has finally spoken up about her rumored connection with celebrity athlete Kobe Paras, putting an end to speculation following his breakup with actress Kyline Alcantara.

In a recent media interview shared via @abscbnnews, Rhaila addressed the online buzz that started when photos of her and Kobe holding hands at an airport — reportedly en route to Bali, Indonesia — surfaced in April.
Eagle-eyed netizens matched the background of Kobe’s Instagram story with one of Rhaila’s own photos, quickly identifying her as the “mystery girl” seen during the athlete’s post-breakup trip.
But Rhaila set the record straight: “To my knowledge, before Bali, they were already long broken up. That’s to my knowledge,” she said, denying any involvement in the split between Kobe and Kyline.
Rhaila emphasized that she and Kobe are strictly friends.
“Just friends! Absolutely,” she clarified when asked about the real score between them.
When pressed if she would consider dating Kobe in the future, Rhaila gave a grounded and open-ended response: “I don’t think you should ever say no, like to anything. If it’s God’s will, then it’s God’s will,” she said.
“But for me personally, I just wanna focus on my career. I’m about to start schooling, I’m very business-minded. I just want to delve into that world of working.”

Finally, when asked about her current relationship status, Rhaila responded with a smile: “I’m single — single and ready to mingle!”
The interview quickly gained traction online, especially among fans of both Rhaila and Kobe. While rumors have swirled since Kobe’s split with Kyline, Rhaila’s candid statements aim to put those to rest — at least for now.
Kobe Paras, son of PBA legend Benjie Paras and actress Jackie Forster, has long been in the spotlight for both his basketball career and high-profile relationships.
