It can be from a severe accident, fire, self-harm, surgery, or any other experience—what matters is you have a scar and a story, you can apply.
The Belo Medical Group has officially launched The Scar Project, a project that focuses on individuals with scars—and the stories behind them.
According to Dr. Vicki Belo, “We have been preparing for this for a long time. It’s difficult to treat scars, but it’s even harder if you also carry the pain in your emotions. That’s why we are here—not just to treat, but to accompany you on your healing journey.”
Dr. Hayden Kho added, “This is for those who see reminders of the past every day. We want to help them regain their self-confidence.”Belo is currently looking for 7 individuals with scars and stories. They will be given personalized treatment from a team of experts—for inner and outer healing.
Present at the launch were Catriona Gray and Alden Richards, along with Iza Calzado, Donny Pangilinan, Belle Daza, and Bianca Umali.Korina Sanchez-Roxas led the panel where the physical and emotional effects of scars were discussed. The story of Rissan Mueslos, driver of Piolo Pascual, who survived a facial accident, was also highlighted. His healing journey with Belo Medical Group is proof that such a transformation is possible.
