Drag club Rampa has officially reopened in a brand-new location—offering an even bigger, bolder, and safer space for the LGBTQ+ community and its allies.
On May 24, Rampa welcomed guests to its grand reopening event titled ‘Moulin Rouge: The Musicale,’ held at its new home along Tomas Morato Avenue Extension in Barangay South Triangle, Quezon City. The event marked the club’s full departure from its original site near Eugenio Lopez Drive beside ABS-CBN.
Through its PR representative Chuck Gomez, Rampa invited select members of the media and LGBTQIA+ advocates to witness the spectacular comeback, which turned out to be an electrifying celebration of queer artistry and community pride.
Headlining the evening were high-energy performances from Popstar Bench, Khianna, Angel, and Zymba Ding. They were joined by the powerhouse cast of Rampa Reynas: Katana, Kiari, Khiendra, Kieffy Nicole, Neenja, Asha Sole, Eliza, Abigail, Mz. Chronicles, Budalyn, Tiffany, and Eyyygatha—alongside the Rampa Movers and surprise appearances from the Divine Divas and other special guests.
Crowd favorites included Angel’s show-stopping number that kept the energy alive until the early hours of the morning, as well as Khianna’s fierce performance backed by dancers.
Popstar Bench wowed the audience with a recreation of Lady Gaga’s Singapore concert performance, leaving attendees awestruck by the scale and effort behind the production.
The club now spans a massive 630-square-meter space, allowing for more comfortable accommodation of its growing audience while enhancing the overall viewing and social experience.
Rampa Drag Club is more than just a venue—it’s a beacon of expression, pride, and celebration for the queer community. Its new space continues the tradition of hosting unforgettable drag showcases while providing a safe, inclusive environment where everyone is welcome.
