Veteran actor and TV host Edu Manzano joined the chorus of reactions online as the Senate blue ribbon hearing on the alleged anomalous flood control projects turned into a high-profile “laglagan” on Monday, September 8.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Manzano quipped: “Isang walang kasing saya, walang kasing exciting… wohooo!!!”
He then added a playful throwback to his iconic hosting stint: “Pilipinas, Game K N B? LAGLAGAN NA!”

When a netizen replied that those implicated so far were “kulang pa” because the exposé was “limitado lang,” Manzano responded: “The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth …..”
The witty posts quickly went viral, with many netizens reminiscing about ‘Pilipinas, Game Ka Na Ba?’, the hit game show that Manzano hosted from 2007 to 2009. Some even called for the program’s revival, saying Edu’s brand of humor and timing is exactly what the country needs in the middle of political drama.
The buzz came as contractor Curlee Discaya named several officials and lawmakers allegedly involved in receiving kickbacks from multi-billion peso flood control projects. The revelations sparked heated reactions across social media, with Edu’s satirical take adding levity to the otherwise serious scandal.
