The Panahon sa Taiwan Travel Fair 2025, organized by the Taiwan Tourism Administration (TTA), drew thousands of Filipino visitors during its two-day run at Robinsons Galleria Ortigas from August 30–31, 2025, underscoring Taiwan’s growing appeal as a top travel destination for Filipinos.

The event kicked off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Deputy Representative Dustin T.S. Yang of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in the Philippines and Cindy Y.T. Chen, Director of the Taiwan Tourism Information Center (TTIC) in Manila, joined by executives from airlines and travel agencies.
Participating exhibitors included China Airlines, EVA Air, Amkor Travel and Tours Inc., BF Travel and Tours Inc., Everbright Travel & Tours Inc., Jeron Travel and Tours Corp., and Sole Destinations Travel, who showcased exclusive packages and promotions. Visitors also enjoyed Taiwan-inspired attractions such as traditional night market games and a Lucky Lantern D.I.Y. workshop, recreating the festive vibe of Taiwan’s world-famous street markets.

Director Cindy Chen highlighted the strong Philippine market performance for Taiwan tourism: “In the first half of the year, Taiwan welcomed over 310,000 visitors from the Philippines — the highest among Southeast Asian countries. With the policy of visa-free entry and diverse promotional efforts, ‘Traveling to Taiwan’ has become one of the best choices for Filipino outbound travelers,” she said.
Chen also cited Taiwan’s four distinct seasons, convenient transportation, over a hundred Michelin-starred and Bib Gourmand restaurants, vibrant shopping, and warm hospitality as key draws for Filipinos.

The fair also featured special guests — travel blogger Xzar Lim and actress Bea Binene — who shared their own Taiwan experiences, inspiring the audience to explore the island further.
To cap off the festivities, lucky participants won roundtrip tickets between Manila and Taipei, instantly turning their Taiwan travel dreams into reality.
Concluding the event, the Taiwan Tourism Information Center in Manila thanked attendees and partners for their support, affirming its commitment to welcoming more Filipino travelers. For updates, follow Taiwan Tourism PH on Facebook.
