Comedian-host and ‘It’s Showtime’ mainstay Vice Ganda slammed the alleged ₱35.24 billion in “inserted” funds for flood control projects in Bulacan supposedly linked to Ako Bicol Party-list Rep. Zaldy Co.

The revelations came during the September 23 Senate Blue Ribbon Committee hearing, when former Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) District Engineer Henry Alcantara testified that billions worth of projects appeared in the 2022 General Appropriations Act after he submitted proposals to Co.
Vice reacted to the controversy on X (formerly Twitter), questioning how such practices could happen unchecked: “Sa Bulacan pa lang to! Magkano na pag buong Pilipinas? At nakaw pa lng to sa DPWH.
THANK YOU PO MAM/SIR?!” she added.
Vice, recently recognized as one of the Bureau of Internal Revenue’s top-paying media personalities, has been among the loudest celebrity voices calling out corruption.
Last Sunday, September 21, she was front and center at the massive “Trillion Peso March” rally at the People Power Monument, where she directly addressed President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.:
Vice’s remarks came amid mounting testimony before the Senate alleging that billions in kickbacks from DPWH flood control projects were delivered in cash-filled suitcases and distributed among politicians.
Rep. Zaldy Co, who was implicated by former engineers, is currently out of the country for “medical treatment,” but Speaker Bojie Dy has since canceled his travel clearance and ordered him to return.
