The inaugural CineSilip Film Festival runs from October 22 to 28, 2025, across select Ayala Malls theaters — Trinoma, Market! Market!, Ayala Malls Manila Bay, and Ayala Malls Circuit Makati.
The festival features seven provocative and visually daring titles, all rated R-18 by the MTRCB: ‘Dreamboi,’ ‘Pagdaong,’ ‘Haplos sa Hangin,’ ‘Salikmata,’ ‘Maria Azama: Best Prn Star*,’ ‘Babae sa Butas’ and ‘Ang Lihim ni Maria Makinang’.
Tickets are priced at ₱270 per film, while a Festival Pass — granting access to all seven films — costs ₱1,500.
Despite the erotic themes, festival organizers emphasize that the CineSilip lineup focuses more on storytelling, artistic expression, and social commentary than mere titillation. Compared to Vivamax’s streaming fare, many of the entries were described as “more sensual than sexual,” showcasing the directors’ attempts to explore human desire, loneliness, and empowerment through cinematic craft.
