All-Out Sundays presents the first-ever Veiled Musician Philippines, a global reality singing competition from the Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS) in South Korea.

Following the collaboration of GMA Network, SBS, and South Korean entertainment company Kanverse, the Veiled Musician Philippines is finally coming to the AOS stage for a one-time special episode this Sunday, November 9.

Veiled Musician is an international contest where singers perform behind a veil, allowing judges and audiences to focus solely on their vocal talent.

GMA’s very own Gabbi Garcia and Rayver Cruz are hosting the very first Philippine leg of the competition, while Mark Bautista, Rita Daniela, and Julie Anne San Jose are going to judge the 12 contestants.

According to Gabbi, “Maglalaban-laban ang singers pero hindi makikita ng judges ang mga mukha nila, which makes it more exciting.” Rayver adds, “Napakasaya na gagawin natin ang global competition na ito sa AOS.”

The jury also shares the same excitement to discover the world-class talents of Filipinos. Rita mentions, “This is my first time judging a singing competition, so na-e-excite ako for this.” Moreover, Mark and Julie underscore this huge opportunity to bring Filipino talent to the global stage.

“Malaking platform ito for Filipino performers and singers kasi maipapakita natin kung gaano kagaling ang mga Pinoy,” says Mark. “We’re very excited for them, excited kaming mapanood ang kanilang performances at malaman kung sino ang ipapadala natin sa international scene,” Julie highlights.

Making their judging experience even more special is the presence of a guest jury, 2nd-gen K-Pop idol and Girls’ Generation member Tiffany Young. She shares, “A competition show is just one part of their journey. I hope they really treasure every single part from the beginning to end, and that this moment will inspire them to sing more to the world.”

The 12 contenders battle against each other for three rounds. Then, the jury must choose the top 3 singers to represent the Philippines at the Veiled Cup in South Korea. There are also representatives from South Korea, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Mongolia, China, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Whoever wins the Veiled Cup gets the chance to perform in the Korean music program, Inkigayo, and sing a K-Drama original soundtrack.

Catch Veiled Musician Philippines on All-Out Sundays, this November 9 at 12:00 p.m. on GMA Network. For more stories about the Kapuso Network, visit www.GMANetwork.com.
