Kapuso actor and ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition’ 2nd Big Placer Will Ashley has issued a stern warning to bashers after receiving alarming hate messages online — including comments wishing death upon his mother.

In an X (formerly Twitter) post on November 3, Will shared a screenshot of a message from a basher who hurled insults at him and his family. The actor expressed disbelief over how far the hate has gone, questioning why some people choose to spread cruelty online.
“I’ve been getting a lot of messages saying they hope my mom dies. Bakit umabot tayo sa ganyan? Last week lang, nagkaroon ng online reflection about bullying and mental health, tapos lumala this week?” he wrote.
“We are just doing our job, working for our craft, our art—bakit kailangan itapon natin ang morality? O baka sadyang masama lang talaga kayong tao and can’t wait to wish ill on others. Wala kaming ninanakaw, wala kaming sinasaktan o tinatapakan, lalo na ang pamilya ko. Save your outrage for people who are doing evil, not people who are just making art.”
The 21-year-old actor also defended his friends and fellow PBB housemates, who he said have been unfairly targeted by hate comments.
“Also, my friends know better than you. Bakit sila nadadamay? Pati support system who keep us afloat and are there during the private moments of our lives, nadadrag ng walang dahilan.
And this isn’t just happening to me, pati sa ibang housemates. We built a strong bond in the house—hindi nyo ito masisira. Not everything we do is a calculated PR move; we are humans too. Four months kaming magkakasama, supporting each other every day through some of the toughest days of our lives, so obviously close talaga kami.”
Will emphasized that if the harassment continues, he will not hesitate to seek legal advice.
“I am consulting now for legal options in case this doesn’t stop. I don’t want to tolerate this hate anymore na ibinabato nyo sa kahit sino. Not me, not my friends, and especially not my family. This is not a good use of our limited time on earth. Sana use your time to spread love, positivity, and support.”
Despite the negativity, Will ended his post by thanking his supporters for their continued loyalty and kindness.
“Lastly, thank you to my fans who fight for me kahit minsan mahirap. Maraming salamat sa pagsama pa rin sa akin sa journey ko—kayo ang lakas ko. Know I appreciate you all and mahal ko kayong lahat.”
Will Ashley rose to fame as one of GMA Network’s promising young stars and gained wider recognition during his stint on ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition’, where he finished as the Second Big Placer.
