For over a decade, leaders and associates at Capital One Philippines, a three-time Great Place to Work®-certified organization and one of Asia’s 2025 Best Workplaces, have united their efforts and strengthened their commitment to contributing time and skills to projects that uplift communities and create lasting positive change.

“As the organization continues to grow, we reaffirm our mission to change banking for good. This includes a deliberate focus on how we can serve better. It fuels our drive to keep innovating and delivering work that matters,” said Head of Country Raoul Teh. “We empower our associates to think differently, experiment, and deliver value. Our drive is to be a force for good not just for customers and associates but also for the communities around us.”

Investing in Environment and Social Impact

Among the landmark achievements this year was the installation and turnover of its 100th water tower at Kalubkob Elementary School in Silang, Cavite last October. This initiative, completed in partnership with Planet Water Foundation, provides innovative solutions for safe drinking water access. Leaders and associates helped construct the towers and facilitated hygiene classes to promote proper water health and sanitation practices.

Capital One Philippines also continues to strengthen its environmental conservation efforts through the “Pledge to Plant” initiative, which brings leaders and associates in a shared commitment to sustainability through tree-planting and related activities in Siniloan, Laguna. The program educates associates on environmental issues, highlighting the company’s role in supporting ecological well-being, and inspires greater involvement in sustainability efforts and community engagement.

Through its ongoing partnership with Rise Against Hunger, Capital One Philippines further strengthened its support for vulnerable communities by donating 500,000 nutritious meals and providing 49,000 essential items such as hygiene kits, school supplies, and household necessities. These contributions have helped sustain families facing food insecurity and equipped local organizations with resources to better serve their beneficiaries.

Developing Future-Ready Leaders

In partnership with Tuloy Foundation, Capital One Philippines continues to invest in the Contact Center Readiness Program (CCRP). This training initiative is designed to prepare individuals for the IT and Business Process Management (IT-BPM) industry. Now in its 11th year, CCRP has produced a total of 167 graduates with a 99% employment rate. All graduates go through the full application process, ensuring that the company continues to hire the right talent and set them up for success.

“Volunteerism is deeply rooted in our culture. Working at Capital One Philippines means being part of something bigger. We are fully committed to empowering our associates and the communities we serve through sustainable programs that help improve key aspects of everyday life.” said Teh.

Julie Larano, the company’s lead for Community Impact and Investment (CI&I), shared, “Volunteerism reminds us that each of us has something valuable to offer. By showing up, we create hope, inspire others, and move our community forward. However small, every act of kindness matters and makes a difference for those on the receiving end of our efforts.”
