The actress and television host addressed the issue head-on after viewers repeatedly asked her about a viral blind item circulating on social media. Without naming anyone, Gonzaga made it clear that she had no patience for unfounded gossip.
“Do not waste time sa mga nonsense okay. It’s a waste. Ang mga waste dapat finaflush sa CR okay?… just like yung mga ibang katanungan ng mga tao dito na walang silbi ang pupuntahan ng mga ganyang questions,” she said.
Her candid remark quickly went viral, drawing praise from fans who applauded her straightforward stance against rumor-mongering.
The blind item in question recently sparked widespread speculation online about a famous married couple allegedly dealing with infidelity issues. Some netizens attempted to link the rumor to Gonzaga and her husband, director Paul Soriano, citing their status as a so-called “power couple.”
