VMX continues its streak of provocative and emotionally charged storytelling with its newest original film, Palitan 2.
Directed by Rodante Y. Pajemna Jr., the upcoming drama stars Angela Morena and Margaret Diaz alongside Victor Relosa and Juan Paulo Calma.
Set in a conservative provincial town, Palitan 2 explores the complicated intersections of first love, suppressed desires, and the emotional cost of living authentically in a society bound by tradition and expectations.
The story centers on childhood sweethearts Rose (Angela Morena) and King (Victor Relosa), who appear to be building a stable future together as wedding festivities fill their hometown. However, everything changes with the unexpected return of Angel (Margaret Diaz), Rose’s former lover from Manila, who arrives with her boyfriend Ron (Juan Paulo Calma).
What starts as an uneasy reunion between former lovers slowly evolves into a rekindling of unresolved emotions, threatening the life Rose carefully built and forcing her to confront the truth about her past and identity.
Known for its daring themes, Palitan 2 promises intense drama, emotional tension, and passionate performances, particularly from Angela Morena and Margaret Diaz, whose chemistry anchors the film’s central conflict.
