VMX is set to push the boundaries of the erotic thriller genre with its newest original film, Scandal Queen.
Directed by Topel Lee, the film explores the dark realities behind viral fame, celebrity scandals, and online manipulation in the digital age.

Inspired by real-world controversies surrounding leaked scandals and social media exploitation, Scandal Queen centers on Mara, portrayed by Karen Lopez, a seductive and calculating operative working for an underground syndicate specializing in blackmailing high-profile male celebrities.
Mara treats romance and desire as tools for manipulation, using charm and seduction to trap targets and gather compromising material for extortion.
Her latest assignment leads her to Alex, played by Nico Locco, a rising actor whose career is on the verge of superstardom. Seen as the perfect target by the syndicate, Alex becomes entangled in Mara’s dangerous mission.
However, things become complicated when Mara unexpectedly develops genuine feelings for Alex, putting both her mission and her loyalty to the syndicate at risk. As Alex willingly risks his career and future for her, the film promises twists that blur the line between manipulation, desire, and real emotion.
Adding more intensity to the story are Rhian Rivera and Dimple Rubia, who join the cast in pivotal roles that further heighten the tension and drama.
According to VMX, Scandal Queen aims to offer a visually striking and suspense-filled look into the hidden power plays behind celebrity culture and internet scandals.
The film will stream exclusively on VMX, with subscriptions starting at P169 per month.
