The NCR Metro Stars Elementary Football Team bannered by Muntinlupa City is ready to take center stage as the official representative of the National Capital Region in the Palarong Pambansa 2026, carrying with them the pride, passion, and championship pedigree of NCR football.
The Muntinlupa City Alabangers earned their place after a gripping campaign at the NCR Meet 2026 last March, capped by a dramatic championship victory over defending back‑to‑back titlist San Juan City. Battling through a hard‑fought 1–1 draw in the finals, the team held steady in penalties, emerging with a decisive 3–1 shootout win that crowned them NCR champions.
Under the leadership of Head Coach Javier Coscolluela and Assistant Coach Jorrel Aristorenas, the young booters demonstrated poise and unity throughout the tournament, overcoming dominant opponents and pressure‑filled knockout matches on their road to the title.
The 21‑player roster, composed of standouts from De La Salle Santiago Zobel Grade School and PAREF Southridge Admirals, brings depth, discipline, and balance to the squad as they head into national competition.
As the annual game begins May 24–31 in Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur, the NCR Metro Stars step onto the national stage—ready to showcase the strength of NCR football and compete among the country’s regional best.
