Actress Bea Alonzo and businessman Vincent Co are now officially husband and wife, with the couple’s legal counsel confirming that they were married in an intimate civil ceremony officiated by Makati City Mayor Nancy Binay.

In an interview with GMA News’s ‘State of the Nation’, Atty. Joey V. Garcia confirmed that the wedding took place on the evening of July 13 at Makati City Hall.
“Yes, I confirm that the civil wedding of Ms. Bea Alonzo and Mr. Vincent Co took place yesterday evening at around 7 p.m. at the Makati City Hall, and the ceremony was solemnized by Mayor Nancy Binay,” Garcia said.
According to reports, only four close friends witnessed the ceremony, while even the couple’s parents were not present, reflecting their preference for a private celebration.
Garcia also addressed months of speculation surrounding the couple’s alleged prenuptial agreement, firmly denying reports that it became a source of conflict between the newlyweds.
“With regard to the alleged issues on the prenup agreement, I must state clearly and unequivocally, for the record and in fairness to all concerned, that a prenuptial agreement was duly signed, executed and entered into freely and voluntarily by the contracting parties, Ms. Bea Alonzo and Mr. Vincent Co, without issue.”
The lawyer emphasized that earlier reports claiming the couple had disagreements over the prenup—which some linked to the cancellation of their supposed destination wedding—were “not accurate.”
Speculation about Bea and Vincent’s wedding had persisted for months after marriage banns surfaced and reports emerged of a planned ceremony in Spain that did not push through.
The civil wedding was later confirmed by Mayor Nancy Binay herself through social media after she revealed she had personally officiated the ceremony.
As of writing, neither Bea nor Vincent has released a personal statement regarding their marriage, continuing to keep details of their relationship largely away from the public eye despite widespread interest in the couple’s love story.
