Can comedians freely joke about others—but also take offense when they become the subject of jokes themselves?
That question takes center stage in the latest episode of Your Honor, premiering this Saturday, July 18, on the YouLOL YouTube channel.
Hosted by Madam Chariz Solomon and Vice Chair Buboy Villar, the comedy talk show will explore the topic, “In aid of jokes: Bawal ma-offend ang KoolPals?”
Joining the discussion as resource persons are comedians GB Labrador and Roger Naldo, who are expected to share their perspectives in what the program describes as a riotous and laughter-filled hearing.
The episode will tackle whether comedians should be expected to accept jokes directed at them just as they make jokes about others, and where the line should be drawn between comedy and taking offense.
