Global Dominion Financing, Inc. (GDFI), a pioneering Philippine financing company dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs and MSMEs, caps 2025 with record-breaking results: total assets reaching PHP 18.6 billion, a 32% jump from PHP 14.1 billion the previous year, and a net income of PHP 882 million, representing a 10% year-on-year growth from PHP 799 million in 2024.
Building on this strong performance, Global Dominion has begun a new phase of growth under the leadership of Samuel Cariño, who assumed the role of President and CEO in June 2026. The company is poised to build on its strong momentum while expanding its support for Filipino entrepreneurs and MSMEs.
“Our 2025 performance is proof that disciplined strategy and purposeful execution deliver results,” said Cariño. “As we move into 2026, we are building on this foundation to expand our reach, deepen our digital capabilities, and become the financing partner of choice for more Filipino SMEs, especially those who have long been underserved by traditional financial institutions.”
Strong Financial Footing Across All Metrics
Global Dominion’s income statement reflects broad-based strength. Total revenue grew to PHP 5.12 billion from PHP 3.75 billion in 2024, driven by interest income of PHP 4.63 billion. Operating expense to PHP 3.93 billion, up from PHP 2.68 billion, reflecting the company’s continued investment in branch expansion, digital infrastructure, and workforce growth to support its rapidly scaling loan portfolio.
On the balance sheet, loans to customers (net of provisions) reached PHP 16.24 billion, compared to PHP 12.55 billion the prior year. Total equity more than tripled to PHP 4.27 billion from PHP 1.25 billion, reflecting significantly stronger capitalization. The company’s return on equity stood at a robust 32% as of 2025.
Global Dominion also delivered strongly on its commitment to serve everyday Filipinos and small business owners, reaching 28,985 borrowers nationwide with total loan releases of PHP 11.82 billion — a 19.2% year-on-year jump from PHP 9.92 billion in 2024. Business loans led at PHP 5.43 billion, growing 34.1% from the previous year, while personal loan releases surged 70.7% to PHP 5.22 billion, reflecting deepening trust across both entrepreneur and individual borrower segments.
Digital Transformation as a Growth Engine for 2026 and Beyond
A defining highlight of 2025 was Global Dominion’s accelerated digital transformation. The company launched the MyLoans App, its proprietary mobile-based Loan Origination and Management System, designed to simplify loan applications, improve approval timelines, and enhance the overall customer experience. The platform earned Global Dominion the Philippine Technology Excellence Award for Fintech – Financial Services at the Asian Technology Excellence Awards 2025, recognizing its innovation, scalability, and measurable impact on financial access.
Complementing MyLoans was the deployment of AI Rudder RoboCallers, an AI-powered system that transformed Global Dominion’s TeleCollection and TeleMarketing operations. Within a short period, the technology directly assisted in more than PHP 200 million worth of loan releases, demonstrating that intelligent automation, working in tandem with human agents, can drive real business outcomes at scale.
With 196 branches operating nationwide as of April 2026, Global Dominion continues to fine-tune its physical footprint to maximize community impact. The company’s branch optimization strategy prioritizes deeper market penetration in provinces and communities outside urban centers, bringing accessible financing to where it is needed most.
As MSME Month comes near, this dual strategy of combining technology-driven scale with on-the-ground presence reflects Global Dominion’s commitment to “Go Beyond” in broadening credit access for the underserved.
“In 2026 and beyond, we will harness digital transformation as a strategic bridge to reach further, serve smarter, and empower more. Every digital investment the company makes is designed to extend Global Dominion’s reach and deepen our impact across the country, reinforcing our commitment to be accessible, trusted, and ready to fuel every dream worth financing,” concluded Cariño.
