Anne Curtis is gearing up for an exciting new chapter in her acting career as she returns to action and explores darker genres in upcoming projects.

During her recent Thanksgiving press conference, the actress revealed her excitement over ‘BuyBust: The Undesirables’, a nine-episode action-thriller series directed by Erik Matti.
The project serves as a sequel and spin-off to the 2018 action film ‘BuyBust’ and marks Matti’s first collaboration with Netflix.
Curtis admitted that she is thrilled to revisit action while also challenging herself with new material.
“With Direk Mik, I have not done a psycho thriller in a while. When the script fell onto my lap sabi ko ang tagal ko na hindi to nagawa. Game, let’s get out of my comfort zone,” she said.
Aside from the Matti project, Curtis is also reuniting with acclaimed director Ruel Bayani for the first time since their blockbuster 2011 film ‘No Other Woman’.
“Ang ganda ng concept. It is a very Direk Ruel Bayani concept. It is not super camp, but may touch pa rin na kaunti,” she teased.
She is likewise in discussions with filmmaker Irene Villamor for another movie project, though details about the genre are still being finalized.
