Premier theater company 9 Works Theatrical is thrilled to announce that it will produce and stage the highly anticipated Philippine debut of Disney’s Frozen The Broadway Musical.
The spectacular stage adaptation of the globally beloved animated film will enchant audiences at the state-of-the-art Proscenium Theater in Rockwell, Makati, for a strictly limited engagement in April 2027.
Based on the 2013 Academy Award-winning animated feature film, Disney’s Frozen features music and lyrics by Filipino-American two-time EGOT winner Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, and book by Jennifer Lee.
The musical features a dozen new songs written exclusively for the stage, alongside beloved classics like “For the First Time in Forever,” “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?,” and the global phenomenon, “Let It Go.”
The last time a Disney Theatricals musical was staged in Manila was Disney’s Newsies in 2017, which was also produced by 9 Works Theatrical.
