SexBomb Girls member Mhyca Bautista says she has never been afraid to publicly share her relationship with her longtime partner, CJ Abad, expressing gratitude for the support they continue to receive from both their families and the public.
During Monday’s episode of ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’, Bautista revealed that she and Abad have been together for eight years and have always been open about their relationship.
“Ako, proud po ako sa kanya. Since pandemic pa po, 8 years na po kami. So simula pa naman po nu’ng nagkaroon kami ng relasyon, parang open naman po ako.”
Bautista said she and Abad have been pleasantly surprised by the overwhelmingly positive response to the content they share online.
“‘Yung sa mga social media, natutuwa po sila. Parang nagko-comment pa nga po ng, ‘More pa, nakakatuwa ‘yung mga vlogs n’yo.’ So wala naman po kong nakikitang mga negative comments.”
She added that the acceptance they receive from their loved ones has given her even more confidence to be open about their relationship.
“Sa family po namin, family niya, okey naman po. So bakit ako matatakot na i-open sa ibang tao?”
Beyond their families, Bautista said the encouraging messages from supporters have made it easier for them to share glimpses of their life together on social media.
Meanwhile, Bautista and the SexBomb Girls recently wrapped up the Canadian leg of their world tour and are set to perform next at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on Aug. 8.
Ahead of the concert, the iconic girl group is also scheduled to release its new single, ‘Mama Mama,’ on Aug. 7.
