Former matinee idol Cogie Domingo was arrested by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in their recently drug buy bust operation in Makati.
According to Manila Times report, the actor’s arrest was confirmed along with two other suspects. One of the arrested was Cogie’s wife, Ria Sacasas.
According to PDEA Public Information Office Chief Derrick Carreon, there will be follow-up operations involving the 32-year-old actor’s case. As of this writing, no specific details have been released on why the couple were arrested by the PDEA operatives.
Cogie is now under the custody of PDEA Calabarzon at Camp Vicente Lim in Calamba.
The former actor is best known on his character Gino on teen-oriented show, “Click.” He made an acting hiatus in 2016 and recently starred on the GMA Network’s prime time series “Someone To Watch Over Me,” alongside Tom Rodriguez and Lovi Poe.
