Jollibee did it again! Before, it was about heartbreak and finding love again.
They introduced “14/29 The Petsa de Peligro JolliSerye.” The serye is a first-of-its kind digital sitcom that depicts funny and relatable situations that Filipinos usually experience during Petsa de Peligro or the days when one survives with as little money as they could. The title was inspired from the most Petsa de Peligro days: 14th and 29th of the month or the day before actual salary comes in. This JolliSerye is conceptualized and executed by Publicis JimenezBasic.
The succeeding episodes will air every 14th and 29th of the month for the rest of 2017 in the official Jollibee Facebook page. The cast members include:
Bryan Mendoza as Pare, the “Diskarte Dude” from Sales.
Charlon Untalan as Jiro, the “Eat Guy” from I.T.
Aldrin Angeles as James, the “Mr. Pogi” of Marketing.
Justine Pena as Nina, the “Kikay Diva” from Accounting.
Thea Yrastorza as Alex, the “Hugot Girl” from Art Dept.
Arielle Roces as Queenie, “H.R. Royalty.”
And the unsung heroes of the office (from left to right):
Cesar Batistis as Manong Gardo, the English-speaking Security Guard.
Almira Joverto as Terry, the Secretary-slash-Businesswoman.
Gerlie Hemilo as Ate Flor, the Floor Executive aka Janitress.
The pilot episode introduced the different characters which consists of six main office mates and three other staff members. They work at a printing house and were asked what Petsa de Peligro means to them. The cast also have their own different and funny antics. A viewer could also pick up a hack on how each of them creatively survive Petsa de Peligro.
According to Mari Aldecoa, Jollibee Core Category Marketing Director, Filipinos avoid spending money to get great tasting food and they found out how to share it.
