GMA News and Public Affairs just announced that they will be going to do a fantaserye for this coming Halloween season titled “Elemento.” Based on the program info they released, “Elemento” will showcase underworld creatures such as kapre, tikbalang, duwende and manananggal among others as having filial concerns and conflicts of interest.
There’s no confirmed cast yet but I am hoping that the network will give it to their homegrown artists especially those from GMA Artist Center. There’s a lot of them, artists with real talents especially on acting, who deserve an exposure.
Slated for airing on GMA Network on the fourth quarter of 2014, “Elemento” will be under the helm of acclaimed horror director Topel Lee.
