After his controversial comment to a former prostitute in an episode of “Juan For All, All For Juan” segment of “Eat Bulaga,” Joey de Leon remained silent about the issue. In February 22 episode of the noon time show, it can be noticed that the veteran TV host-actor did not defend himself from bashing.
Netizens started to express their wrath when Joey asked the former prostitute, who won in the said segment if anyone from “Eat Bulaga” had been her customer in the past.
“May naging guest ka bang taga-‘Eat Bulaga’? Hindi, baka napasyal lang,” Joey asked the winner.
Unlike his other past controversies, like his ‘insensitive’ comment about depression, Joey made his apology the day after the episode. However, it seems that he chose to remain quiet this time.
Perhaps, this is a more mature step for Joey to just keep himself away from commenting more on the issue.
