In an exclusive interview with PEP.ph, James Yap believes that there’s nothing wrong on greeting his son, Bimby Aquino on an Instagram post on April 19, Thursday.
He greeted his son as he really missed him.
In the said interview, James stated that he didn’t do anything wrong.
“Birthday ng anak ko, grineet ko lang naman. Wala naman yatang masama dun kapag i-greet mo yung sarili mong anak. Tsaka na-miss ko siya. Wala naman atang masama dun… sariling tatay mag-greet sa sariling anak.”
In the said Instagram post, James wrote how he will always be there for Bimby.
“Happy birthday Bimb! I miss you and think about you everyday. Alam ko na ang tagal na natin di nakapagspend ng time together, at di nagkikita, but i want you to know that I’m always here for you. I will always be your papa. I hope you enjoy your birthday! ❤🎂🎁🎊🎉🎈”
In an earlier report, Kris slammed James on a pretentious birthday greeting for Bimby on Instagram. She wrote that she kept quiet for all the years he had accused her of power tripping. She added that he spoke up and claimed that he felt tired and lazy of putting in an effort of being a father to Bimby.
“Ngayon patas na tayo, hindi na ko pwedeng ma-accuse ng power tripping. NANAHIMIK ako for so LONG- even when you crossed the line when promoting that bar you are part owner of- nagsalita ka & nasa PEP yung video na napanuod ni Bimb mismo “nakakawalang ganang mag effort na magpaka tatay kay Bimb kasi hindi naman appreciated.””
Kris continued that he claimed she didn’t allow him anywhere near Bimby. He only wanted to leech off of her when Noynoy Aquino was still the president and shared that he even signed a contract for child support. However, he only reached out for the child support once.
“UTANG NA LOOB… flashback 2013- trying hard kang umiyak (i say trying hard kasi walang luha, puro uhog lang) sa interview mo sa TV Patrol dahil “pinagkakait” ko si Bimb sa yo… Ay oo nga pala, of course pinagaksayahan mo sya ng panahon 5 years ago- kasi nasa Malacañang pa ang Tito nya… Nung tinanong ka bakit hindi ka na nag share sa tuition ni Bimb ang “excuse” mo dahil hindi ka na consult nung ililipat sya ng school… Sinunod ko yung annulment compromise financial agreement of 2011 w/c gave you millions; 2014 tayo pumirma ng compromise child support, once ka lang nag abot ng half mo pang education ni Bimb- after the signing.”
Kris also shared that Bimby remarked how James already mentioned Bimby’s alleged “homosexuality” in court and many other times and kept quiet about that. Kris also said that they are already living in peace. However, he started to hit it with his birthday post. She continued that Bimby doesn’t get any benefit from James anymore.
“When Bimb saw the post na BINASTOS sya na “baklain” sya, he shrugged it off & said: “Mom- who cares? My own biological dad said that about me in court & he’s said it so many other times?” Nanahimik pa rin ako about that kasi feeling ko- wag mo kaming guluhin, peaceful tayo… Eh humirit ka w/ your birthday post. So bakit nga ba hindi kayo nagkikita? Ganito ka simple- wala ka nang pakinabang kay Bimb.”
Kris pointed out that James ended communication because they stopped having any power. He could have contacted them just to see the 11-year-old child and he would have known how caring, generous, polite and lovable his son is. Kris, then, ended that she couldn’t take any half-truths and hypocrisy from James himself.
“Wala na kasi kaming “power” so bakit ka pa didikit? Madali kung gusto mo. Ang kapatid mo ka Facebook si Bincai. Yung napakabait na pamilya from Iloilo na parang 2nd family mo ay hanggang ngayon ka close ni Ate at Pinky… you are missing out on experiencing what a caring, generous, polite & lovable boy Bimb is- and it is your LOSS. I am ready to be bashed for washing our dirty laundry (of course w/ Ariel Antibac w/ the power of Safeguard) on IG BUT this mother has had it w/ half truths & hypocrisy & she needed to make a stand for truth. #lookwhatyoumademedo”
