Viewers continue to tune in to the exciting and thrilling events on “Araw Gabi” compared to its rival show as the Kapamilya afternoon drama achieved a new all-time high national TV rating for its episode last Friday (August 10).
The “Riot” episode of “Araw Gabi” garnered a rating of 17% compared to the 13.5% of “Hindi Ko Kayang Iwan Ka” on GMA, according to data from Kantar Media.
In the episode, Amanda (Ara Mina) planned her return to the Philippines to deal with Celestina (Vina Morales) after finding out that she is Harriet de Alegre, Virgilio’s (Raymond Bagatsing) wife and Mich’s (Barbie Imperial) mother, who was thought to be long dead.
The hashtag #ArawGabiRiot made it to Twitter’s trending topics after receiving thousands of tweets.
It also showed Mich sneaking her father out of the hospital and out of Celestina’s clutches. However, Virgilio forbade his daughter from getting in touch with Adrian (JM de Guzman) for the sake of their safety.
How long can Adrian and Mich stay apart from each other? When will the identity of Harriet be revealed? When will Celestina face justice for all her crimes?
