The first ever ABS-CBN Ball will feature the country’s biggest Kapamilya stars. This will be held on September 29, Saturday at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel.
This replaced the annual Star Magic Ball where only Star Magic artists and their dates could attend.
LionhearTV listed down the celebrities who didn’t go to last year’s Star Magic Ball but we wish to see at the red carpet of ABS-CBN Ball 2018:
Coco Martin
Coco already confirmed his attendance in the upcoming ABS-CBN Ball in an interview.
“Siyempre, andyan kami para sumuporta talaga. Siyempre, first time na mangyayari ‘to na halos lahat ng mga artista andoon eh.”
Vice Ganda
Although he was invited, Vice didn’t show up at last year’s Star Magic Ball. Reports suggest that Vice went to his niece’s 18th birthday and celebrated her debut with his family. Vice usually talked about the ABS-CBN Ball during It’s Showtime.
He would always express his sadness over being dateless. Jhong Hilario, however, recently exposed that the comedian has one.
Anne Curtis
Anne had been one of the most-anticipated actresses to show up at the Star Magic Ball. She, however, was last seen at the ball in 2010. She has neither confirmed nor denied her attendance to the ABS-CBN Ball but everyone wishes her to be there.
Sarah Geronimo
Sarah’s long-time boyfriend, Matteo Guidicelli, already confirmed he will be attending the ball. He, however, is hoping that Sarah will join him. Sarah, on the other hand, has not attended previous celebrations of the Star Magic Ball which may be the reason why Matteo is reluctant to confirm her attendance.
Sharon Cuneta
It looked odd that the Megastar was not invited to the Star Magic Ball in 2017. She speculated that the invite probably got lost on its way to her. She, however, wished everyone to have a good time and enjoy it.
Sharon currently has yet to reveal whether or not she will go to the ABS-CBN Ball.
Julia Montes
Julia was absent in the 2016 edition of Star Magic Ball. She, however, was last seen at the ball in 2015. She hasn’t confirmed her attendance to the ABS-CBN Ball.
Melai Cantiveros
In 2016, Magandang Buhay co-hosts Karla Estrada and Jolina Magdangal went to the Star Magic Ball together. Melai, however, was noticeably absent. She was last seen at the ball in 2015.
In 2017, she and husband Jason Francisco threw their own Star Magic Ball in celebration of their fourth wedding anniversary and their youngest’s eighth month birthday.
She has yet to confirm her attendance to the event.
