Tawag ng Tanghalan contestant Gerald Kris Galero from Mindanao performed a Jennylyn Mercado song. Vice Ganda acknowledged Mercado, Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza‘s love team in an episode of It’s Showtime on November 21, Wednesday.
Contestant gave her own interpretation of Jennylyn’s song.
Galero turned out to be a fan of Jennylyn’s and sang her 2013 single, Kahit Sandali.

Vice expressed how beautiful Jennylyn is. He also mentioned Jennylyn’s recently launched online cookie shop, Chunky Dough.

Vice encouraged a split-screen to happen in It’s Showtime. Galero and her boyfriend touched palms in split screen just like AlDub’s Kalyeserye days.
“Diba ganun dati sa AlDub… Tapos magkikita kayo sa Bulacan.”
When fellow It’s Showtime host asked Vice how he knew about the split screen, the comedian only answered:
“Nanunuod ako, eh. Isa ako sa mga sumuporta sa AlDub.”
