The Clash Top 12 finalists Tombi Romulo and Clark Serafin felt grateful after the show reached high ratings last week.

According to data of AGB Nielsen NUTAM, the all-original Filipino singing competition recorded a high rating of 8.6% which made them win against rival Home Sweetie Home with only 7.3% last Saturday, December 7.

On Sunday, December 8, The Clash celebrated another win after getting a 10.3% rating defeating Your Moment with their score of 8.7%.

Many viewers were thrilled as several contestants came back to compete again in Clashback. The wildcard round of the program gave a second chance to six contestants Al Fritz, Antonette Tismo, Clark Serafin, Lorraine Galvez, Sassa Dagdag, and Tombi Romulo after they were eliminated from Top 12. As chosen by The Clash panel, Antonette emerged as the only one who will advance in the next round.

Despite their loss, Tombi and Clark still expressed their gratefulness to their supporters and to viewers of the show.

Tombi took to The Clash official Facebook account and wrote a comment about their successful ratings.

Tombi said, “Nakakataba ng puso. Salamat po sa suporta [n’yo] sa The Clash.”

Meanwhile, Clark shared the ratings post of the show on his social media account and captioned it with, “Maraming salamat, mga Kapuso.”

The second The Clash Grand Champion winner is set to be revealed this coming Sunday, December 15.
