Why did Willie Revillame kneel in front of Charo Santos-Concio during YES! magazine’s 15th anniversary party held recently at the Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria in Quezon City?

Showbiz personalities and members of the press were surprised when they spotted the controversial “Wowowin” host down on his knees before his former boss. However, the ABS-CBN president said, “It was nothing. He just whispered something.”

Asked if there’s a rift between them, Charo denied this, but she told PEP.ph, that she and Willie “have been talking for quite some time.” As to the nature of their conversation, your guess is as good as mine.

Back in November 2010, ABS-CBN filed a copyright infringement suit against Willie, Wil Productions Inc., and TV5 for allegedly copying “Wowowee” in the latter’s show “Willing Willie.”

The MMK host added that she can easily tell Willie how she feels, but the nature of their conversation at the YES! party was left out.

There are rumors circulating that Willie’s Sunday variety show on GMA 7 was cancelled due to money troubles and poor ratings. The network clarified that it is looking for a better time slot and Willie’s show might even air daily soon.

“I joked him. I said that I read in Ricky Lo’s column that he was going daily,” Charo revealed. She added that Willie looked sad on hearing this.

Is there a chance she would accept the former Kapamilya host if he decides to return to ABS-CBN?

“We haven’t talked about it. In fairness, it hasn’t been discussed,” she said.

Meanwhile, Willie received a plaque of recognition for gracing the cover of the highest-selling issue of YES! which reached the 300,000 mark in January 2009.
