To commemorate International Women’s Day, here are some celebrities and personalities who are making great strides in the name of womanhood and women’s rights.

Catriona Gray

Catriona encouraged everyone to pray with her for the medical professionals who are risking their lives to save more infected people with the pandemic disease, for the leaders to obtain more wisdom in handling the stressful situation and for good progress to combat coronavirus.

Angel Locsin

After showing her support for ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal, Angel spoke out to remind fellow Filipinos that staying at home is crucial. She also reiterated that while many individuals really want to donate masks and other protective gear, it’s difficult to find suppliers.

Sir, many wanted to donate mask and other protective gears. Kaya lang sobrang difficult makakuha. Kung sakali mang natuloy yung order, may kukuha na politicians or big companies. I’m sure itutulong rin naman po nila sa iba. Pero it’s hard for us https://t.co/ysUuj5DZpq

Unfortunately, there are sellers trying to take advantage of the pandemic to triple the prices of the protective gear. In line with this, Angel hopes that the seller she encountered would find feel guilty about trying to overcharge her for masks she had planned to donate to frontliners.

Sa nagbebenta sa akin ng mask na nakalaan para sa mga frontliners natin for P1,500, MAKONSENSIYA HO KAYO
