According to Philstar, GMA Network don’t want any of their artists to get involved in endorsing anybody this 2016 elections.
GMA Network revealed that the campaign offers for Alden Richards has been piling up. It’s a big no-no to have him support anyone due to his massive popularity. He’s one of the fastest rising stars in the Philippine showbiz right now, thanks to the AlDub love team.
Unlike GMA Network’s stance of not using the popularity of their celebrities for the elections, ABS-CBN isn’t limiting their artists to support anyone they want.
Angel Locsin supports her uncle Neri Colmenares, who is the Congressman of Bayan Muna party-list.
Meanwhile, Toni Gonzaga and Direk Paul Soriano announced their support for their Godfather who’s running for Vice President, Sen. Bongbong Marcos.
