ABS-CBN, TV5 in a partnership?

Head honchos of both Kapamilya and Kapatid networks are still silent on the rumored partnership, yet to release a big announcement during a press conference anytime this week, according to Ricky Lo via Philstar.

On Monday, August 18, a possible partnership between ABS-CBN and TV5 is possibly going to happen, revealed Lo, a veteran entertainment columnist.

As speculated and predicted, it’s going to be a win-win situation for both TV networks–if Kapamilya and Kapatid will enter into a partnership. It will benefit viewers of both stations.

ABS-CBN extends a wider free-TV coverage reach across the country, and TV5 gains boost as an extended home of the brightest stars.

Cignal-TV5, a free-TV is containing ABS-CBN’s channels like Kapamilya Channel, Jeepney, Cinemo, and Knowledge Channel on its cable program. That’s why a bigger and better partnership is expected.

Despite ABS-CBN’s shutdown from free-TV Channel 2 in mid-2020, well-loved shows like It’s Showtime, ASAP Natin ‘To, and FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano are still able to entertain its viewers through ZOE Broadcasting Network of Bro. Eddie Villanueva, newly renamed as A2Z Channel 11.

TV5’s entertainment has block timers like Brightlight Productions, Archangel Media, and Viva Entertainment. It is welcoming ABS-CBN, regardless of the Network’s issue.

ABS-CBN Films’ newly-created talent management supports Rise Artist Studio as previously announced their newest love series, titled Love On Da Move on TV5. With 13 episodes, the award-winning director Olive Lamasan directed the series under the collaboration with Star Cinema, spearheaded by the chief operation officer Cory Vidanes and Brightlight Production, and assisted by Star Magic’s co-founder Johnny ‘Mr. M’ Manahan.

Is ABS-CBN’s Sunday variety show ASAP Natin ‘To expected to be telecast on TV5 after the Network’s Sunday Noontime Live bowed down?
