Fans of the tandem Derrick Monasterio and Bea Binene, or DerBea for short, have a reason to celebrate this coming 2016. The two young stars are slated to star in a teleserye which is scheduled for launching in February 2016, according to GMA Network.
The teleserye will likely be a drama since the story will revolve around a child who was brought up in isolation, without any human interaction. Her trials and experiences as she goes back to normal society will give plenty of material for conflicts and confrontations. Expect the teleserye to bring out the best in Bea and Derrick’s acting skills.
It’s the first time that the love team DerBea will have their own television series. The big move will be a big boost to both Derrick and Bea’s careers. Their love team was formed in “Tween Hearts” about 5 years ago. Although DerBea are also in “Vampire ang Daddy Ko”, they are only part of the supporting cast.
This just might be the big break that will make the DerBea loveteam one of the most bankable love teams in the camp of GMA Network.
Derrick and Bea are of course excited with their new project. Both of them posted the same picture on their Instagram, and captioned it with their reactions to their upcoming project. Derrick said, he’s “Excited and nervous” while Bea simple caption is “mixed emotions”.
DerBea fans though, have nothing but positive comments and expectations for the still untitled teleserye. They are all congratulating DerBea and can’t wait to see the launching of the show.
