Ogie Diaz reminds the 70 solons who voted for ABS-CBN’s shutdown for a ‘day of reckoning’ in the upcoming elections

Talent manager Ogie Diaz hinted a day of reckoning is coming to this election against solons who voted against the ABS-CBN franchise.

On his YouTube vlog, Diaz addressed the 70 congressmen who voted in favor of the ABS-CBN’s franchise denial.

As Kapamilya marked the anniversary of the historic ABS-CBN shutdown, Ogie said: “Napaka bilis ng panahon, how time flies, 1 year na pala… yung hindi binigyan ng prangkisa, pinasara ang ABS-CBN.

He then sent his message to the 70 solons: “Yun naman pong ‘Yes’ to shutdown, eh nag tagumpay kayo ngayon.

He also thanked the people who tirelessly supported the Network and continuously praying for its return.

Diaz also pointed out that despite ABS-CBN’s removal from free TV, the Network did not fail to deliver service to the Filipino people.

He is one of the Kapamilyas who is vocal about their disappointment toward the 70 congressmen who voted against franchise renewal even though the media company got cleared from any presented violations.

On his previous vlog, he also expressed his reaction to the abstaining vote of Rep. Alfred Vargas during the franchise hearing.

It’s either yes or no,” Diaz said.

Vargas is a former Kapamilya artist who started his career in the Network.

He failed to stand up for his home network and fellow celebrities, unlike Rep. Vilma Santos who voted against the denial despite the conflict of interest issue.
