Rio Filomeno, Chie Filomeno’s brother, defended his sister against the online hate that she is receiving while inside the PBB house.
During the PBB nomination night on November 14, Chie’s fellow PBB housemate Madam Inutz nominated her for eviction saying that the former GirlTrneds member does not contribute to the PBB House.
“Binibigyan ko ng two points si Chie, ready na siya. Ready na siyang umalis kasi wala naman siyang ginawa. Wala naman siyang maiambag sa bahay kundi pagpapaganda,” said Madam Inutz.
The comment trended online as netizens also stepped up to speak about why Chie deserves to be evicted out from the PBB House.
Rio Filomeno then noted his sister does not deserve the bashing toward her.
He said that Chie is a hard worker and gives a great contribution to the PBB House.
“Let your actions contradict what they’re saying.
“My sister does not deserve the shallow hate that she’s receiving right now. She’s a very genuine and hardworking person. Wala siyang ibang inisip kundi ang kapakanan ng iba. Started being a breadwinner at a very young age and has faced a lot of false accusations but [still] remained to see the good in them,” he said.
Rio also expressed his disappointments because most of Chie’s bashers are also women.
He then listed some of the great contributions of his sister inside the PBB House.
“My sister is still facing cyberbullying, body shaming, and misogyny from nasty people in all different social media platforms with them not knowing who she [really] is. Cyberbullying just became a trend for them to join the bandwagon of hating someone. All they have is yung mga false accusations nila and napaka unfair ng judgement nila. Ang masama din dito KAPWA BABAE pa nag bobody shame and nag spread ng misogyny about her.
“1st week: Choreographer ng play.
“2nd week: Yung team nila nila Aly ang naglalagay ng blocks lagi, never kong nakita tumunganga si Chie magkuskos ng kahoy.
“3rd week: task leader, arranged the sched of 300 orders alongside with Eian and Alexa, made the Ramen, PLUS they won this weekly task.”
Aside from Chie Filomeno, Benedix Ramos, Eian Rances, and KD Estrada are part of the third batch of housemates that are up for eviction next on November 20.
