Through a comment on twitter on Monday, November 15, Kim Atienza admitted that ABS-CBN made him popular, but he also mentioned that he has a rich wife, Felicia Hung Atienza.
Atienza responded to a basher who implied that he owes his fame and wealth to ABS-CBN.
A basher wrote, “Sino si @kuyakim_atienza kung wala ang ABS na nagpasikat at nagpayaman sa kanya?”
Atienza replied, “Amen sa nagpasikat pero mayaman ang napangasawa ko way before ABS.
“Kuya Kim became known because of ABS yes.”
His wife, Felicia Hung is known as a Taiwanese entrepreneur. She is the president, CEO, and founder of Chinese International School Manila from 2007 until the present. Aside from this, she is also the CEO of Domuschola International School from 2018 until the present. She took finance & multinational management at Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
The TV host recently made noise online because of his “nakaiwas sa sakit ng ulo” facebook comment about John Prats on Saturday, November 13.Â
Prats was supposed to direct It’s Showtime, but he was later revealed as one of the directors of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. Many netizens assumed that Atienza is throwing shade at It’s Showtime, but he denied this through a tweet post on Sunday, November 14.
He explained, “I didn’t mean anything negative w my comment.
“Being a friend of Direk Bobet, I know how difficult it is to direct a live show. Masakit talaga sa ulo, multitasking w a skeleton crew etc.”
Atienza stayed in ABS-CBN for 17 years. He is known for the programs TV Patrol, Matanglawin, It’s Showtime, and Umagang Kay Ganda. He became a certified Kapuso on Monday, October 4 this year.
