Four Kapuso shows join Top 5 Most-Watched programs nationwide; ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ remains a threat

‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ stands firm to hinder the total domination of Kapuso shows in the Top 5 Most-Watched programs nationwide. 

The inclusion of the Kapuso shows ’24 Oras’, ‘I Left My Heart In Sorsogon’, and ‘The World Between Us’, and ‘To Have And To Hold’ in the Top 5 prove the current power that GMA Network has in free TV. 

The ranking of the shows in the Top 5 recently became consistent as December opens. 

’24 Oras’ is cemented in the number 1 spot for a very long time now. 

‘I Left My Heart In Sorsogon’ is also solid in second place and is the most-watched TV series nationwide. 

The return of ‘The World Between Us’ became a hit for viewers as it is fixed in the third spot. 

The only Kapamilya program in the Top 5, ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’, ranks 4th as it continues to compete in ratings despite the limited reach of ABS-CBN. 

And in the fifth spot is ‘To Have And To Hold’, which is having a hard time surpassing the Kapamilya program.

2. ‘I Left My Heart In Sorsogon’ – 12.7%
3. ‘The World Between Us’ – 10.7%
4. ‘FPJ Ang Probinsyano’ – 10.2%
5. ‘To Have and To Hold’ – 8.8%

December 3 (Friday)

1. ’24 Oras’ – 18.6%
2. ‘I Left My Heart In Sorsogon’ – 12.3%
3. ‘The World Between Us’ – 10.2%
4. ‘FPJ Ang Probinsyano’ – 9.6%
5. ‘To Have and To Hold’ – 8.6%

1. ’24 Oras’ – 16.0%

Considering GMA Network’s number of substations nationwide, its audience reach is wider compared to other networks. That is why its programs can easily dominate the leaderboards. 

However, as GMA Network reigns in free TV, ABS-CBN also dominates the online programming.
