The Unkabogable Phenomenal Star was among the biggest personalities to perform in front in the mammoth crowd who flocked to Presidential and Vice Presidential pair’s record-breaking Pasay People’s Rally.
He is not the “Unkabogable Phenomenal” star for nothing.
The Kapamilya comedian and host Vice Ganda officially came out in the open as a proud ‘Kakampink’ on April 23 at Leni-Kiko’s massive Pasay People’s Rally.
The event coincided with Robredo’s 57th birthday, which also saw the declaration of support from various sectoral and regional groups, including the Kilusang Mayo Uno, and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front.
“Sa gabing ito… opisyal kung iniendoros ang susunod na pangulo ng Republika ng Pilipinas, Leni Robredo (Tonight, I am officially endorsing Vice President Leni Robredo as the next president of the Republic of the Philippines,” declared Vice Ganda, as he raised the Robredo’s right hand.
All roads led to Magsaysay Boulevard on the said date. The drone shots confirmed the movement of people from different areas, which converged at the people’s rally venue. By 7:30 pm, authorities reported that more than 412,000 people already flocked to the event.
Vice Ganda told the crowd that her performance that night — a Madonna medley — was her birthday gift for the presidentiable but her gift to the Filipino people is the vote he will be casting on May 9.
“Pag si Leni Robredo ang ating binoto, mananalo tayo (If we make Leni Robredo win, we will win),” he told the ecstatic crowd.
He also said that it is time to make the Filipino people win, and not the candidates.
“Tuwing eleksyon na lamang, palagi tayong nagsasamasama para magpanalo ng kandidato. dapat magpanalo naman tayo ng mga sarili natin, ng pamilya natin, at ng bansa natin.Tayo dapat ang manalo (Every election, we always come together to make a politician win. It is time to change that and make ourselves win, instead, make our families and our nation win, instead. We should be the ones to win this election)!” he said in an impassioned appeal.

Vice Ganda’s presidential bet has long made voters and fans curious, and while he hinted about whom he is [really] supporting, it still made a lot of people bite their nails in excitement.
He broke his silence on the evening of April 23, by gracing the biggest Leni-Kiko campaign, so far, with his highly-anticipated presence.
The comedian host is not the first It’s Showtime mainstay to publicly pledge her support to Robredo’s candidacy. Anne Curtis, Kim Chiu, Jugs Jugueta, and Ogie Alcasid, also previously voiced their support for the lone femle presidentiable in the 2022 national polls.
