Rodriguez posted a photo of hands with breaking chains on his Instagram Story. This was his first Instagram Story after months of hiatus on social media.
Amidst this, it is rumored that Abellana is already preparing documents for their annulment.
Radio host and showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin talked about this on her YouTube show Showbiz Now Na.
She said, “Si Carla Abellana pala nagpapahanda na ng dokumento ng annulment.
“At tayo nga ay binigla. Pagka-kasal, tatlong buwan pa lang naghiwalay na. Di ba nakakalula yun, a.”
In an interview on Cristy FerMinute of Radyo Singko and One PH on March 11, 2022, Rey Abellana revealed that Rodriguez’s “one-night stand” issue caused his split with Abellana.
He told Fermin, “Nay, honestly speaking, hindi po natin maku-consider na third party, e, ang sitwasyon.
“Kasi po, ang pangyayari ay one-night stand, e. So, hindi natin kinu-consider yun na third party.”
After seven years of being in a relationship, the two Kapuso stars tied the knot on October 23, 2021.
