Kuya Kim Atienza shared a useful reminder about fame and popularity online.
In his Facebook post on October 24, the weather anchor-TV host said that people should always be wary of their words and how they act toward others.
“Fame is so fleeting, so temporary. Ingat sa sinasabi o pinopost pag sikat ka. Baka sa isang taon, di ka na sikat, you will be totally humbled.”
In the comment section, Kuya Kim then said that his post is intended for himself and for everyone else in the showbiz industry.
“This post is for me, my co workers on tv, vloggers or anyone under the spotlight. Wala akong personal na pinatatamaan. Back to you guys,” he said.
Kuya Kim’s former It’s Showtime co-host Eric Eruption also agreed with him saying, “Think wisely, post wisely, chat wisely.”
On Instagram, Kuya Kim also reposted his reminder where TV personalities like Hayden Kho, Jason Abalos, and Yasmien Kurdi also agreed.

Kuya Kim Atienza posted his reminder as the issue with YouTube vlogger Zeinab Harake was spreading like wildfire online. Harake’s conversation with Wilbert Tolentino was leaked online which showed how she backstabbed her friends and fellow vloggers.
However, Kuya Kim has already clarified that his post is intended for all TV personalities.
