The-now Kapuso stars Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz will make a reunion film under Star Cinema.
Despite being with the GMA network, Alonzo and Cruz will still work with Star Cinema, a film production company of ABS-CBN.
In a report by ABS-CBN on December 2, Alonzo revealed they will work with the same team they had on their hit 2007 movie One More Chance.
“It will be written by Carmi Raymundo and concept by Enrico Santos. So it’s going to be exciting,” she said.
Cathy Garcia-Molina will direct the upcoming reunion film project.
Direk Cathy was also the director of One More Chance which became a box office success with over ₱152.7 million gross nationwide.
After seven years, Alonzo and Cruz’s upcoming film will mark their comeback on the big screen.
A Second Chance (2015), also directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina was their last film project.
Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz are both Kapamilyas before transferring to the GMA network. Alonzo became a Kapuso in July 2021 after almost 19 years under ABS-CBN.
Cruz transferred to GMA in November 2021 after being with ABS-CBN for about 22 years.
